Program Description
You've heard about planned giving, and you know that it can be an important source of gifts. Maybe you've attended some CPGR presentations, and you've put "Start a Planned Giving Program" into your "to do" list for 2008. But where do you start? How do you keep it going? What's the board's role? And where can you find the time, especially if you already wear ten hats?

At this presentation, you will learn:

  • why PG is worth your time
  • how PG goes hand-in-hand with endowments
  • what are PG program "best practices" and "bare minimums,"
  • how to take advantage of existing resources such as NCPG's Leave a Legacy® Program, and
  • how to start and continue a PG program on one hour per week.
