Program Description
Empowering Boom-Generation Women to Fulfill Their Legacy Boom-generation women have emerged as philanthropic leaders in an extraordinary time in our nation's history.

In 2006, the first wave of boom-generation women (b.1946-64) turn age 60. These women are members of a generational peer group driven in purpose by their sense of vision and values. They want to invest their wealth, power and influence in projects and issues that appeal to their desire to leave a significant legacy and make a profound and lasting impact for positive societal change.

In the 21st century not-for-profit organizations play a vital role by building trusting and lasting partnerships with boom-generation women and providing programs that make a compelling case as to why a women's legacy will not be complete until she decides how her money will be used when she is gone. Programs that engage and inspire boom-generation women will communicate your message to their heart and soul and connect your mission with their passion.

Gift planners and professional advisors have the unique opportunity to empower them to use their wealth, power and influence to do good for society and to support your mission.
