Program Description
The presentation will give a current summary of estate tax issues and income tax issues with an emphasis on how the changing conditions could affect charitable gift planning.  Examples will be used for discussion about the impact of the current tax law and comparison to proposed changes.  

DANIEL A. RICH, Executive Vice President at Steele Street Bank & Trust
Dan is a Colorado native with extensive experience in personal and corporate trusts, institutional trusts and investments. He has worked at a number of financial institutions in the Denver area, including American National Bank (formerly the Bank of Cherry Creek) where he established the trust department more than fifteen years ago. Dan supervised all aspects of trust department administration, operations and compliance, and was responsible for administration of personal trusts, employee benefit accounts, custody accounts and municipal accounts. Prior to his tenure at ANB, he held a similar senior management position with another major regional bank.

Mr. Rich earned his B.A. and M.B.A. at the University of Colorado, earned a J.D. degree at the University of Denver and is a licensed attorney. He also did postgraduate study in the Master of Tax program at the University of Denver.

Dan has been active in several professional organizations including the Denver Estate Planning Council, the Centennial Estate Planning Council, the Denver and Colorado Bar Associations, and the American Bar Association. He has been a committed community volunteer, serving on the board of the Mile High Red Cross, Crohn's and Colitis Foundation, Hillel of Colorado and the Colorado Planned Giving Roundtable. Dan also served on the Financial Development Committees of the American Cancer Society, Multiple Sclerosis Society and Regis University.
