Program Description
Kevin Yoshida will discuss how using the framework of the Colorado Uniform Prudent Investor Act/Uniform Prudent Management of Institutional Funds Act can help guide investment decisions during the calm and the turbulent periods.

Kevin Yoshida, CFA is a founder and Managing Director of Watershed. Kevin’s role as client consultant is to research, analyze and develop strategic recommendations for foundation and endowment clients. Kevin also leads the firm’s economic and capital markets research. Prior to co-founding Watershed in 1998, Kevin was with Mercer Investment Consulting, last serving as a client consultant. He also specialized in manager research, serving as a National Investment Manager Field Research Consultant charged with conducting on-site investment manager meetings and making recommendations regarding investment managers’ inclusion or exclusion for Mercer’s global manager search activity. He also served on the National Manager Search Task Force, which created the structure for all manager search activity at Mercer. Kevin has held the Chartered Financial Analyst designation since 1995 and is a graduate of Colorado State University with a BS in Finance. Kevin is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Colorado.
