Fellowship Program

CPGR Fellowship Program

The Colorado Planned Giving Roundtable Fellowship Program is an effort to reach out to nonprofit professionals by offering an opportunity to participate in a two-year program that will:

• Enhance their professional development and fundraising training, particularly in the area of planned giving
• Offer access to networking opportunities, as well as fundraising and planned giving resources
• Assist them in developing their organization’s own planned giving program

Who Should Consider Applying to the Fellowship Program

Nonprofit professionals from across the Rocky Mountain Region who:

• have little fundraising experience, but are now responsible for all or part of a nonprofit’s fundraising, including planned giving
• are experienced fundraising professionals, but are new to planned giving

Candidates from diverse backgrounds, those who work for smaller organizations, and those working for organizations in underserved communities are particularly encouraged to apply.

How It Works

CPGR’s Fellowship Program is offered on an annual basis beginning in January. Applications to the program will be accepted beginning in the fall, with a deadline of December 11th. Applications will be reviewed and Fellowship recipients will be notified by December 28th. The applications must include permission from the candidates’ supervisor and/or the Chair of the Board/CEO/Executive Director of the hiring organization.

Candidates may come from Colorado or the surrounding states, but since attendance at a number of programs throughout the year is required, candidates will most often be drawn from the metro-Denver area. However, candidates who are able to travel to meet the fellowship commitment will be considered. Two to four Fellows will be selected each year.

For consideration as a candidate for the Fellowship Program, please complete the attached Fellowship Application and email to our Executive Director Tina Drum at info@cpgr.org  or fax to (720)981-2858.
