Program Description
Every planned gift donor is different, but what are the key factors that motivate donors to leave an end-of-life gift? Is it the mission of the organization? Is it a desire to “give something back” to the community? Is it a desire to demonstrate the importance and value of philanthropy to their offspring? Is it a desire to minimize tax liability? Or, is it based on a personal relationship with a planned giving professional or others?

Perhaps many, or all of these factors are at work with donors. It is always important to understand perspectives from “the other side of the table,” something often difficult to accomplish in the planned giving field. At this session, you’ll have the unique opportunity to hear from five distinguished planned giving donors who will talk about their planned gift(s) and answer audience questions about their experiences with charities. The panel will include Eddie Robinson, Richard Livingston, Dave Killen and Robert Cooper.

You won’t want to miss this unique opportunity to find out how planned giving donors view the process of dealing with planned gifts and planned giving officers.

Brown Bags are free to members. There is a $15 fee to non-members.
