Program Description

In the current economy, planned giving presents important fundraising opportunities. But with decreased budgets, development staff must work smarter than ever! Learning how to integrate planned, major and annual giving strategies is a priority! This program will provide a thorough explanation of the key steps to effectively integrate planned, major and annual giving.

In addition, this session will review popular gift planning techniques in the current economy along with strategies for integrating promotion of these techniques in the context of a comprehensive fundraising program. Specific strategies for campaign planning, goal setting and gift counting will be shared. Integrated staff training and coordination as well as donor prospecting techniques will be discussed in detail. Steps will be given to prepare blended proposals for donors, charitable pledge agreements, coordinated annual fund appeals and endowment agreements.

Ideas and examples for integrating donor stewardship and recognition activities will be explained. Finally, suggestions for involving senior staff and your board of directors will be reviewed as essential for success. This interactive session will allow plenty of opportunity for questions and discussion."
