Damon L. Whelchel

Damon L. Whelchel, CFA; Director, Investment Management. Mr. Whelchel has over 16 years of investment experience with responsibilities as Director covering portfolio design, manager selection and monitoring, portfolio management, and trading oversight. Mr. Whelchel joined Kaspick & Company in 1997 as Manager of Trading, advancing to Senior Investment Manager and Associate Director of Investments before his designation as Director, Investment Management in 2010. His prior experience includes financial market and economic analysis for the Economics division and fixed income trading desk of Wells Fargo Capital Management, and Treasury market analysis for MMS International/Standard and Poor’s. Mr. Whelchel holds a BA in Economics cum laude from Gustavus Adolphus College and an MS in Economics from Purdue University. In 1997, he became a CFA charterholder, awarded by the CFA Institute.
