How to Create an Ad

Step 1 - Prepare the image

To create an ad for the rotating sponsor area on the home page, you must first resize your graphic so that it is 152 pixels wide. The height is not important, but it must be 152 pixels wide. Save this image.

Step 2 - Create the Ad on the Website

When you are logged in with the propoer permissions, you will see an "admin" toolbar on the left side. Click the "Create content" link.

Click the "Advertisement" link

Click the "image advertisement" link.

Give your ad a title in the Title filed. Make it descriptive. It won't show up on the page, but will help you when you manage the ads later.

In the "Ad groups" area, select the "Home Page Ads" option. This will ensure that the ad appears in the home page rotation.

In the "Destination URL" field, enter a website for this sponsor. This is where people will go if they click this ad.

Now you will upload the file you created in Step 1. Click the "Browse" button and find the image you created in Step 1. Once it is loaded, click the "Attach" button.

You are finished uploading the image. Click the "Submit" button.

Step 3 - Place the Ad in Rotation

Once the image is uploaded, you will be sent to the administration page for this ad. you still have a few actions to take. Click the "Edit" tab at the top of the content area.

Select the "active" option.
